Education/Career Mentoring
The Fairview Friends Foundation oversees an extensive mentorship program; placing students with community leaders, artisans and educators, entrepreneurs and visionaries, with the intention of broadening their horizons and opening their eyes to the endless possibilities that await them.
With single-day, weekly, and monthly programs available, students are given an opportunity to work closely with local experts in a variety of fields, and are given an unprecedented opportunity to see, first hand, what it takes to make it in a particular profession. FFF Mentorship Programs rely heavily on the support and involvements of FHS alum, as many successful people began their journeys in the hallowed halls of Fairview High School. FFF is also in the process of developing a scholarship program that will provide funding to students in need. Look for a full roll out of this program in the Fall of 2011.
