Becky Hookanson
Becky serves as President of the Board and handles all day to day activities for the foundation. Duties include: organizing fund raising events, organizing ambassadors (volunteers), delivering "Magic Moments" to friends in need, and assisting recipients who need more assistance with illness or accidents by setting up separate funds, communicating and serving the needs of larger fund recipients.
Prior to Fairview Friends Foundation Becky had a successful 18-year tenure in the field of management consulting. Her main goal was to manage Planet Management Consulting's corporate strategy and plan for long-term growth. Since inception, Planet Management has seen a significant rise in client base, deliverable programs, deliverable media, strategic partnerships, industry base, and staff. The company has also realized over 200 percent growth since its founding under her direction.
Prior to Planet Management, Hookanson served as Vice President of Operations for The Friedman Group USA, and also lived in Sydney while serving as the General Manager for The Friedman Group's Pacific Rim licensee. Her responsibilities for this company included the supervision of all training and consulting delivery to clients, as well as taking an instrumental role in expanding the company's market.
Clients include: Optus Communications, Telus Mobility, Freedom Furniture, Verizon Wireless, Cracker Barrel, Bridgestone/Firestone, DEMA, PADI, The Colomer Group, Eddie Bauer.
Community Involvement /Personal
* Denver Pet Partners - Becky served as Chairman of the Board for Denver Pet Partners a non-for profit that trains and uses animals for assisted therapy.
* Currently going through her second year of Chronic Lymes disease treatment. This experience has helped her with many of our recipients and their needs.
